Mr Milind Dalal
Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Mr Dalal is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust since 2004. He has expertise in major microvascular reconstructions and hypospadias - and works collaboratively as a team with colleagues offering reconstructive services to a variety of surgical specialties.


He has been Chair of the Higher Surgical Training Committee for Plastic Surgery in North West England till 2014 and was responsible for the recruitment and training of all Plastic Surgery trainee doctors in North West England. 


He has been a Member of the Surgical Advisory Committee (SAC) for Plastic Surgery and a Member of the Intercollegiate Core Surgical Training Committee at the Royal College of Surgeons in London that oversees the training standards of all Plastic Surgery trainee doctors & core trainee doctors in the UK. He therefore has a vast experience in assessing the quality of training for doctors.


Mr Dalal currently is an Examiner for the FRCS (Plast) examinations conducted by the Intercollegiate Board of Examinations in the UK and is a Council Member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons).


He has been Clinical Director of Plastic Surgery at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for 6 years and was responsible for the functioning of the Plastic Surgery department at the hospital that included maintaining standards of care.

Mr Srinivasan Iyer
Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Mr Iyer is Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust with expertise in diverse subspecialties of Plastic Surgery. He worked in South of England for many years and moved to North West in 2013. 

He has always shown great commitment to Teaching and Training. While in South of England he trained core trainees and Specialist Plastic Surgical trainees in Pan Thames Deanery and Oxford Deanery and both deaneries and Specialist Advisory Committee commended him for his special efforts towards training. Wexham Park Hospital which is now part of the Frimley Health NHS Trust celebrates his efforts towards training by dedicating an annual trainee award to his name. Every year they give out a “Most Promising Trainee - Sri Iyer award” to the best trainee in the trust.

After moving to Northwest, he showed even more vigour towards Teaching and Training and was the Course director for 5 years for the FRCS(Plast) Exam Preparatory course at Preston which is a leading national course. He was also Course director for the Career Progression Course aimed at Core trainees to prepare them for their selection and transition to higher surgical trainees in Plastic Surgery. He is a faculty member of many other courses run at Preston and in the Northwest region. He was the Training Lead for Plastic Surgery at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS trust from 2014 to 2018 and then took over as the Training Programme Director for North West Deanery, a position he still holds.

He has nearly 40 publications in Peer reviewed journals on a wide range of subjects including Clinical Plastic Surgery, Education and Hospital Administration & Management. 

Mr Jeyaram Srinivasan
Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Jeyaram Srinivasan (JS)  is a NHS Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Preston since 2004. His main work load in NHS involves major cancer surgery and reconstruction – delivered as a team with his colleagues. 


JS has been involved in teaching and training for over 16 years. In his NHS role, he is a recognised Trainer for Plastic Surgery trainees as well as Medical students. He was involved with RCS Edinburgh for over 10 years – running courses such as Training the Trainer course. He was a Regional Surgical Advisor for the RCS Edinburgh representing the North West region. 


JS is currently a Council Member of BAAPS and till recently, was the Chair of the Educational Committee for BAAPS – organising Regional Aesthetic Surgery Training days. 


He is appointed to be the Clinical Lead for the Cosmetic Surgery Professional Masterclass being developed by the RCS England.
